[Remote] Senior Strategic Account Manager

Zoetis is a leading company in the poultry industry, and they are seeking a Senior Strategic Account Manager to represent their Poultry products and services in Broiler accounts. This role is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction and achieving revenue targets while managing new business growth and retention in assigned Key accounts.ResponsibilitiesMeets and exceeds all sales targets for both key accounts and territory accountsCoordinates and/or leads all Zoetis activities within assigned Key accountsLeads the development and maintains the account plan for assigned Key accountsPromotes and supports sales of all Zoetis products and services in assigned Key AccountsProvides selling solutions to Key AccountsBuilds customer loyalty to Zoetis poultry products and services by developing relationships with key account decision makers and influencersManages corporate and complex level communication to customers regarding Zoetis poultry products and servicesInitiates and maintains regular communication of customer requirements with internal Zoetis groups including Customer Service, Veterinary Services, Marketing, and product support teamsKeeps management and team members informed of industry news, Key account news, sales objectives, accomplishments, and competitive informationProvides feedback to assist in the development of marketing plans to Key AccountsUtilizes Customer Relationship Management Tool(CRM) to manage key accounts, contacts and businessStays abreast of changes and future needs of assigned Key accounts and forecasts on a monthly basisContinues to build and develop industry network to improve understanding of customer strategy and gain early awareness and involvement when applicableAssists in the development of colleaguesSkillsFour year degree in Agricultural life science or agribusiness requiredExperience may be considered in lieu of education requirement10+ years in the Poultry Industry with working knowledge of poultry production3 or more years of selling experience in large multi-location accounts requiredSignificant Sales experience and strong relationship growth in large accountsStrong working knowledge of Zoetis products and servicesWorking knowledge of poultry productionHighly developed interpersonal skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasksPC literate with the proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (excel, word, powerpoint, project software)Promotes teamwork and cooperationAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business communityMust be able to travel overnight 50% of the time and possess a valid Driver's license and clean driving recordMust have the ability to work in animal environments normal to the poultry industryMust be regionally located in close proximity to Key decision-making team of Key Accounts5+ years preferredCompany OverviewZoetis is an animal health company that advances care for animals and supports their health and wellbeing.
