They are seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage their database infrastructure, ensuring security, integrity, and performance while implementing best practices for data management, backup, and recovery.ResponsibilitiesDesign, install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases to support business applicationsMonitor database performance, implement tuning improvements, and optimize SQL queriesDevelop and manage database security, ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry standardsPerform regular database backups, recovery testing, and disaster recovery planningAutomate database processes and implement monitoring tools for proactive issue resolutionTroubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutionsImplement and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutionsMaintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policiesStay updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and best practicesParticipate in strategic planning for database infrastructure improvements and scalabilitySkillsBachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field7+ years of experience as an SQL Database AdministratorExpertise in SQL Server (2016/2019/2022) and Azure SQLStrong proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimizationKnowledge of backup and recovery strategies, high availability solutions (Always On, Mirroring, Replication)Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilitiesFamiliarity with cloud database services (Azure, AWS RDS) is preferredExperience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS is a plusExperience with Databricks SQL Warehousing is a plusExperience with DB Migration is a plus, specially from one cloud to anotherCompany OverviewNPS Prism offers a SaaS CX benchmarking platform that delivers Net Promoter Score and KPI insights on customer journeys across industries.
