[Remote] Senior Software Tester/QA Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Everforth ECS is seeking a skilled Tester to support a rapidly growing Data Analytics and Business Intelligence platform. This role supports high-visibility application modernization efforts focused on redesigning and enhancing enterprise procurement and acquisition systems using modern web technologies.ResponsibilitiesRead and understand requirements; lead and execute comprehensive testing activities across multiple DHS modernization projectsDesign tests and build test dataPlan and coordinate test scenariosPerform non-functional requirements testing like usability, performance, and scalabilityEstablish and document test proceduresCreate project test documents such as a Requirements Traceability Matrix, Test Management Plans, and Test Summary ReportsSupport User Acceptance Test (UAT) testingParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning/backlog refinement/standups/demos/retrospectivesUtilize Jira/Confluence and other materials to manage testing activities, document test results, and track defectsSupport release validation and production verification activitiesCoordinate defect management activities including defect documentation, prioritization, retesting, and validation of fixesIdentify testing gaps, risks, and quality concerns early in the development lifecycle and proactively recommend mitigation strategiesMaintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work productsPromote QA best practices and contribute to establishing a culture of quality across the programSkillsMust be a US CitizenMust be able to obtain a Public TrustBachelor's Degree3+ years of experience as a testerExperience with test automationExperience working in an Agile project environment (Kanban/Scrum) with an emphasis on frequently delivering functional software releases at a sustainable paceExperience with continuous integration tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins)Experience supporting regression, integration, end-to-end, and UAT testingExperience supporting testing activities throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)Experience testing modern web applications built using Angular and/or ReactExcellent communication and interpersonal leadership skillsAbility to work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environmentPrior professional services or federal consulting experience; experience supporting DHS preferredExperience with the Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence)Experience with 508-accessibility testingExperience with Python or scripting languages used for test automationExperience testing APIs and integration using tools such as PostmanExperience with automated testing frameworks and toolsFamiliarity with cloud-based application environmentsCertified Section 508 Trusted TesterFamiliarity with procurement/contractual/acquisition systems (e.g., FPDS, PRISM)Company OverviewEverforth ECS is the federal segment of Everforth, a $4B global organization with over 10,000 employees.
