They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build menu systems that enhance customer experiences and drive business growth.ResponsibilitiesBring your knowledge of distributed systems to build highly-scalable, fault-tolerant systems in a hybrid monolithic/microservices architecturePartner with our data technology organization to enable detailed insight into our menus, unlocking future roadmap opportunities across the orgWork cross-functionally with product managers and business stakeholders to understand the complex processes that drive order fulfillmentMake an impact working on projects that will drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across ezCaterImprove performance at every chance you get (we believe speed itself is a feature)Partner with fulfillment and customer care teams to improve the experience for customers, catering partners, delivery drivers, and customer support agentsHave fun building meaningful software with awesome peopleSkillsFullstack experience on a product engineering team, ideally in Go or Ruby on Rails5+ years of professional software development experienceProficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and a demonstrated ability to integrate them into daily engineering workflows to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and automate routine development tasksDeep knowledge of SQL / relational databases.
