[Remote] Senior Sales Account Executive

The Senior Sales Account Executive will drive revenue growth by selling call handling solutions and emergency communications technology to government agencies and public safety organizations, while also building trusted relationships and navigating complex procurement processes.ResponsibilitiesAchieve and exceed assigned revenue targets by selling call handling solutions to state and local government agencies, PSAPs, and emergency communications centersDevelop and execute strategic territory and account plans to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationshipsEstablish and maintain executive-level relationships with 911 Directors, Emergency Communications Managers, Public Safety Leadership, IT leaders, and procurement stakeholdersServe as a trusted advisor, helping agencies evaluate and modernize emergency communications infrastructureManage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution, including discovery, solution presentations, demonstrations, proposals, and negotiationsEffectively communicate the operational, technical, and financial value of call handling and emergency communications solutionsLead opportunities through government procurement processes, including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, cooperative purchasing vehicles, and contract negotiationsSupport agencies in identifying funding sources, grants, and budget strategies that enable technology modernization initiativesPartner with product, engineering, implementation, and customer success teams to deliver successful customer outcomesMaintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and account activity within Salesforce or other CRM platforms while monitoring market trends and competitive activitySkills5+ years of sales experience, selling Public Safety Solutions, Call Center Solutions, and/or Cloud PBX required2+ years 9-1-1 or public safety experience requiredProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing complex sales cyclesKnowledgeable about public safety operations, workflows, and challenges (PSAP, government agencies, etc.)Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skillsExcellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skillsAbility to navigate government contracts, grants, and funding mechanismsExperience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)Understanding of software, hardware, and cloud-based solutions relevant to public safety (e.g., CAD, RMS, telematics, AI-driven analytics)Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or University with major case work in business administration, information technology or related field requiredEquivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirementsBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, life and disability coveragePaid time offA 401(k) retirement planPaid parental leaveAccess to a robust library of personal and professional training resourcesEmployee discountsCritical illnessHospital indemnityAccess to legal supportPet insuranceIdentity theft protectionAn EAP (Employee Assistance Program) that includes free mental health resources/supportCompany OverviewIntrado is dedicated to saving lives and protecting communities, with a mission to provide comprehensive support in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from critical events.
