The Sr. Revenue Integrity Analyst provides subject matter expertise in charge capture, compliance, and reimbursement while leading audits and driving revenue optimization initiatives across clinical departments.ResponsibilitiesMonitor departmental charge capture accuracy to ensure thorough analysis of work queues and reconciliation reportsIdentify charge capture gaps, workflow issues, and systemic revenue loss risksProvide guidance, training, and education to clinical departmentsPartner with CDM team on updates and recommend improvementsConduct pre/post bill audits to validate charge mappings and billing rulesAnalyze trends and root causes impacting reimbursement, compliance, and financial performanceQuantify revenue at risk and assess the financial impact of charge and develop corrective action plans to optimize revenue initiativesEnsure CMS and regulatory complianceSupport CPT/HCPCS annual updatesCollaborate cross-functionally with Coding, IT, Finanace, Compliance and leadership to resolve issues and improve processesSupport governance committeesDevelop reports and dashboards and deliver data-driven recommendations to leadershipPerforms other duties as assignedSkillsBachelors Degree5+ years hospital revenue cycle, charge capture, or CDMA combination of relevant certification(s) and demonstrated work experience may substitute for the required degreeAdvanced knowledge of CPT/HCPCS and reimbursementExpertise in CDM structure and clinical applicationStrong auditing and compliance backgroundAbility to analyze financial impact of charge issuesExperience with workflow redesign and optimizationAdvanced Excel and data analysis skillsAbility to lead training and education initiativesStrong communication across clinical and executive teamsKnowledge of CMS, Medicaid, and payor rulesExperience with dashboards and reportingCPC, CCS, RHIT/RHIA, Epic CertificationCompany OverviewNortheast Georgia Health System prides itself on core values, which help us achieve our mission of improving the health of our community.
