[Remote] Senior Revenue Accountant

The Senior Revenue Accountant will manage key aspects of the general ledger and the order-to-cash cycle, ensuring accurate billing and month-end close processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesRevenue Operations & Technical AccountingContract Review: Perform first-level reviews of customer contracts and order forms to ensure revenue is recognized according to ASC 606Deal Support: Partner with the Deal Desk and Legal to identify non-standard terms in pending dealsDocumentation: Assist in preparing technical accounting memos for complex or non-standard revenue arrangementsPolicy Support: Assist in maintaining revenue recognition policies and ensuring they are applied consistently across all product linesOperational ExecutionMonthly Close: Execute monthly and quarterly revenue close tasks, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysesBilling Coordination: Collaborate with Billing and Finance Operations teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicingSystem Scaling: Support the implementation of process improvements and automation within our ERP to help scale revenue operationsCross-Functional Support & ComplianceFP&A Partnership: Assist FP&A with data gathering for revenue forecasting and variance analysisAudit Readiness: Prepare PBC (Provided by Client) schedules for external audits and provide supporting documentation for auditor inquiriesInternal Controls: Assist in documenting processes and maintaining control enhancements to support IPO readiness and SOX complianceSkills3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on revenue recognition or technical accountingBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward a CPA is preferredSolid understanding of ASC 606 principlesExperience in SaaS, software, or healthcare tech is highly valuedProficiency with NetSuite and Salesforce; experience with revenue automation tools is a plusStrong analytical skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional partnersComfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shiftCPA or progress toward a CPA is preferredExperience with revenue automation tools is a plusBenefitsOffers EquityCompany OverviewCommure is an AI-based company that specializes in health care.
