[Remote] Senior Remote Consultant

They are seeking a Senior Remote Consultant to support customers and partners through implementations and ensure a seamless post-implementation experience, while also mentoring peers and leading projects.ResponsibilitiesLead Application Reviews or Strategic Technical ProjectsProvide the customer with post project go live support and consulting, tasks might include but are not limited to:Troubleshooting data discrepancies and analysis of consolidated data, customer issues, member formulas and business rulesBuilding reports, security models, custom dashboards, and custom event processesAssist during customer transitionBuilding IntegrationsGathering of business requirements as necessary regarding application support requestsLead and empower application focused team members to apply knowledge of OneStream product and features to support the customer’s businessReview and approve Knowledge Base documentation, to further develop best practicesFocus on business level initiatives, engaging with customers and partners to drive application-focused successSubmit reports of product issues on behalf of the customer and/or partner via defined processesSupport testing of software enhancements and new functionalityAssist in User Application Testing (UAT) of future OneStream software releases and custom CSRC SolutionsTracking tasks accomplished, time spent, and milestones completed using defined toolsEffectively communicate throughout the lifecycle of an open case/issue with customer or partnerHelp build and test content for Trainings (lunch and learns, internal trainings, etc.), events and conferencesSkills2+ years of hands‑on OneStream consulting and implementation experienceStrong functional expertise in Financial Close and Consolidations, including Application Control Manager (metadata management), and Reconciliation Manager (ARM) with Transaction Matching as part of OneStream Financial Close (OFC)Degree in a field such as (but not limited to) Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, CIS, or equivalent work experience2+ years of relevant experience (i.e. CPM, software implementations, development, financial/accounting systems)Minimum 24 months of OneStream Consulting experienceFunctional experience within Financial Close/ConsolidationDemonstrate Consulting principles in daily work and follows processes consistentlyAbility to understand, analyze, and articulate common business processes and decisions to develop easy-to-use customer solutionsFinancial Skills (high-level understanding of financial concepts, intercompany eliminations, General Ledgers, debits, credits, etc.)Ability to troubleshoot without supervisionAbility to manage project deliverables and complete multiple tasks on time with specific requirementsAbility to effectively operate independently or in a team environmentOutstanding MS Office skills, specifically with ExcelStrong critical thinking and analytical background (consulting, banking, research)Technical skills/background as it relates to softwareOrganizedStrong decision-making skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, self-starterExcellent analytical skillsAbility to think fast on their toesAbility to evaluate pros and consPrioritization skillsComfortable communicating with all levels of managementMaster's degree in business, Accounting, Finance or Information TechnologyA professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), and/or other professional designations or certifications (applicable to accounting/finance and information technology)Experience with VB.net or Visual Basic.
