As an SAP FI Consultant, you will implement and optimize financial business processes within the SAP FI module, working closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial operations and contribute to month-end closing activities.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the implementation of SAP FI module, ensuring alignment with business requirementsConfigure SAP FI settings, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA)Customize the system to meet specific financial processes and reporting needsAnalyze and design financial business processes in collaboration with finance teamsDevelop and implement validation scenarios to ensure data accuracy and process integrityCreate and maintain validation rules and workflows within SAP FIImplement and optimize clearing processes for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accountsDevelop reconciliation strategies to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial dataAutomate and streamline clearing and reconciliation processes where possibleCoordinate and execute month-end and year-end closing activities within the SAP FI moduleEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standardsAddress and resolve any issues that arise during the closing process, including adjusting entriesPerform testing to ensure that all configurations and customizations meet business requirementsDocument SAP FI configurations, customizations, validation scenarios, and process flowsProvide training and support to end-users and other stakeholdersMonitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracyProvide ongoing support to finance teams, addressing issues and optimizing processes as neededStay updated with SAP FI advancements and best practices to ensure the system evolves with business needsSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related fieldExtensive experience with SAP FI module implementation, configuration, and supportStrong understanding of financial processes including GL, AP, AR, and AAExperience with creating and managing validation scenarios, clearing processes, and reconciliationsKnowledge of month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting requirementsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsSAP certification in Financial Accounting (FI)Experience with SAP S/4 HANA FinanceFamiliarity with integration points between SAP FI and other SAP modules such as CO, MM, and SDProficiency in SAP FICO module integration and its impact on financial processesCompany OverviewTessera Labs is an AI platform that delivers governed execution across ERP, CRM, HCM, and finance landscapes.
