[Remote] Senior QA Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Imagine Pediatrics is a tech enabled, pediatrician led medical group reimagining care for children with special health care needs. The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for feature and bug fix testing on both web and mobile platforms, automated test case writing, and managing project ticketing workflow within Jira, among other duties.ResponsibilitiesFeature and bug fix testing on both web and mobileAutomated test case writing within Reflect.runTest plan development in collaboration with a cross-section of engineersManaging project ticketing workflow within Jira digesting stories and issues, prioritizing, and communicating severityExecuting and managing automated testsUsing TestFlight and Play Store for mobile testingPartnering with product/customer support to help triage and prioritize issuesShepherd releases, coordinating readiness across teamsStay up to date with emerging trends, tools and technologies in mobile application testingSkills5+ years of QA engineering experience, including hands-on feature and regression testing across web and mobile platforms, automated test development, and active participation in Agile release cycles from test planning through production deploymentAble to work independently and be flexible with changing priorities and simultaneous projects; successful in an Agile development cycleStrong cross-functional collaborator, with a track record of partnering with engineering, product, UX, and customer support teams to define test plans, triage and prioritize issues, and coordinate release readiness across stakeholdersExperience in certifying and driving consistent releases and delivering within short release cyclesStrong analytical skills, detailed and process-oriented; ability to clearly define test cases and document corner cases and dependencies others would not think ofExcellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage and collaborate with developers, UX, product owners, and stakeholdersAn informed perspective of the value of different levels of testsExpert knowledge of project, code and test management tools: JIRA, Confluence, GithubxComfortable debugging web and mobile application failures, triaging tickets with internal stakeholders and communicating these failures upstreamExperience working with product/customer support ticketsExperience testing a healthcare product required, EHR product experience preferredEHR product experienceBenefitsAnnual bonusCompetitive company benefits packageEligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable)Competitive medical, dental, and vision insuranceHealthcare and Dependent Care FSA; Company-funded HSA401(k) with 4% match, vested 100% from day oneEmployer-paid short and long-term disabilityLife insurance at 1x annual salary20 days PTO + 10 Company Holidays & 2 Floating HolidaysPaid new parent leaveAdditional benefits to be detailed in offerCompany OverviewImagine Pediatrics is a virtual healthcare service for children with complex medical conditions.
