The Senior Project Manager, Healthcare Integrations is responsible for leading high-impact initiatives, particularly focusing on artificial intelligence and automation projects, while managing the clinical application lifecycle and coordinating vendor engagements.ResponsibilitiesLeads the full lifecycle of large-scale, cross-functional, or strategically significant projects from initiation through closureWorks with the Technical Team for VM provisioning, firewall configuration, remote access setup, IP whitelisting, service account provisioning, EMR access, CDW data alignment, and integrationTracks the budget and POs and ensures Change Management is implemented when neededCollaborates with business units and functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteriaManages detailed project plans, allocates resources, tracks milestones, and drives execution to ensure alignment with goals and deadlinesIdentifies and mitigates project risks and issues, escalating as needed to maintain project progressServes as the primary liaison for project updates, communicating progress, risks, and decisions to sponsors and senior leadershipOversees the preparation of project documentation, including charters, reports, schedules, and communication plansEnsures adherence to project management standards, methodologies, and governance frameworksProvides mentorship and guidance, fostering professional growth and performanceDrives continuous improvement by recommending and implementing enhancements to tools, templates, and delivery processesManages change control processes and evaluates the organizational impact of proposed changesAdheres to the PMO policies and procedures as outlined by CHSPerforms other duties as assignedMaintains regular and reliable attendanceComplies with all policies and standardsSkillsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field requiredA combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree5-7 years of experience managing projects of increasing complexity required7 years of Technical Project Management experience highly preferredPrior experience managing technical healthcare projects highly preferredPrior experience with vendor management highly preferredPrior experience working with clinical data and operations highly preferredDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing project portfolios or enterprise-wide initiatives highly preferredExperience working with Cerner, Med host and Athena applications highly preferredPrior experience in understanding of data flow, application integration, automation and end-to-end workflow processes highly preferredCertified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI highly preferredPrior experience utilizing Smart Sheets preferredAn understanding of HL7 messages and data integration within clinical applications preferredBenefitsCompetitive compensationPaid time off for vacations, holidays, and illnessComprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription)401(k) retirement savings planEducation support and student loan assistanceLife and disability insuranceFlexible spending accountCompany OverviewCommunity Health Systems is one of the nation's leading healthcare providers.
