This role involves overseeing complex cross-functional programs related to data strategy, governance, and analytics to drive strategic business outcomes.ResponsibilitiesLead multiple complex data and analytics programs simultaneously from initiation through deliveryDevelop and manage program roadmaps, timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks, and resource plansEstablish governance frameworks and operating models to ensure successful program executionDrive strategic planning and execution of enterprise data initiatives aligned with business objectivesFacilitate executive steering committee meetings and provide program status updates to senior leadershipPartner with business and technology leaders to define and execute enterprise data strategiesLead initiatives involving data modernization, cloud migration, data governance, and analytics transformationSupport the development of enterprise data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and reporting ecosystemsDrive adoption of data-driven decision-making across business functionsCollaborate with executive sponsors, business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and engineering organizationsManage expectations across multiple business units while balancing priorities and resource constraintsTranslate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for leadership audiencesOversee Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologiesEnsure successful delivery of data products, dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting capabilitiesIdentify and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependenciesTrack and report key performance indicators (KPIs), milestones, and program outcomesPartner with governance teams to establish data quality, metadata, and master data management practicesEnsure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirementsPromote best practices around data stewardship and data lifecycle managementSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or related field10+ years of program or project management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives5+ years managing large-scale Data & Analytics programsExperience leading enterprise data transformation initiativesStrong understanding of: Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Cloud Data PlatformsExperience managing budgets exceeding $1MProven ability to lead geographically distributed teams and vendorsStrong executive communication and stakeholder management skillsMaster's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fieldPMP certificationSAFe Agilist, SPC, or Scrum certificationsExperience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience with modern data technologies: Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Redshift, BigQueryExperience supporting AI, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics initiativesExperience within highly regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, telecommunications, or insuranceBenefitsCompetitive & Comprehensive Healthcare Package (available only for W2 hourly consultants)Simple IRA with company match (available only for W2 hourly consultants)Professional development & networking opportunitiesA family-friendly environmentNice bonuses for referralsA culture that supports you and your careerCompany OverviewGSquared Group provides information technology staffing and recruiting services.
