They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to enhance user experiences and integrate AI-driven solutions into their product offerings, collaborating closely with various teams to achieve business goals.ResponsibilitiesCreate user experiences and interfaces for product prototypes in keeping with industry standards and best practicesTranslate user needs and business requirements into compelling experiences across web, mobile, and AI-driven touchpointsCreate user journeys, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes across multiple devices and interfacesCreate low- and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design intent, using AI-assisted tools to rapidly explore and iterate on conceptsDesign innovative features that leverage generative AI to transform how users interact with and complete their tax filing experienceContribute to defining what AI-native experiences look and feel like at scale across the Taxwell product ecosystemDevelop reusable AI-informed design patterns and interaction paradigms that can be applied across products and surfacesCollaborate with product management, engineering, research, and data science to define, iterate, and ship features, ensuring alignment across user needs, business goals, and technical constraintsRecommend metrics to define, manage, and measure design success and prioritize enhancementsCreate and present strategies and recommendations to design partners and stakeholders, articulating rationale clearly and confidentlyUse expertise, storytelling, and persuasion to influence the product vision and designMeasure and explain the value of design to stakeholders using qualitative and quantitative dataSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent expertise in User Experience, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Information Architecture, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, or a related field5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise designing solutions for software, web applications, or mobile native apps3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise using industry-standard design and prototyping tools to create low- and high-fidelity designs, such as FigmaDeep proficiency with AI-powered design tools and workflows, with a track record of integrating AI capabilities into the design process and championing adoption across your teamExperience designing AI-powered features or productsâsuch as conversational interfaces, intelligent recommendations, predictive workflows, or agentic experiencesâwith proven ability to ship to production with real outcomesDemonstrated experience influencing, negotiating with, and gaining buy-in from stakeholders, including leadershipDemonstrated experience applying the design decision-making process and incorporating data and key findings into designsDemonstrated experience supporting the iterative design process end-to-end, including wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visualsFoundational understanding of common design heuristics and principlesAbility to accept feedback gracefully while also knowing when to push back respectfullyTakes ownership of own work and AI-assisted outputs alikeâbeing accountable to deadlines and to the quality of everything that ships, regardless of how it was producedDelivers impactful presentations and uses storytelling to influence and persuade othersCan show examples of redesigning how design work gets done: abandoning the previous status quo and reinventing the process with AI at the coreResume must include a link to your design portfolioMaster's degree or equivalent experience in User Experience, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Information Architecture, Psychology, HCI, Human Factors, or a related fieldExperience shipping end-to-end AI workflowsânot just conversational interfacesâto production with measurable outcomesProficiency with vibe coding and AI-assisted prototypingâusing generative AI to rapidly bring design ideas to life in codeCompany OverviewTaxACT develops a tax preparation software that offers guidance and ensures a maximum tax refund.
