The Principal Technical Consultant will help clients implement and optimize Infor CloudSuite solutions, leveraging technical expertise to deliver high-quality results and ensure seamless deployment.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients to understand their business needs and design customized Infor CloudSuite solutions that align with their goalsLead the technical configuration and implementation of Infor CloudSuite applicationsManage data migration efforts, ensuring the accurate and secure transfer of data from legacy systems to Infor CloudSuiteWork on integrating Infor CloudSuite with other systems, both within the Infor ecosystem and with external applicationsCreate comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, configurations, and user guidesConduct training sessions for client teams to ensure they can effectively use and maintain their Infor CloudSuite solutionsProactively identify and resolve technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams and Infor support when necessaryKeep up to date on the latest developments in Infor CloudSuite and related technologies to provide clients with innovative solutionsHave opportunities to mentor, lead, and train Technical AnalystsMaintain Infor technical certificationsServe as the subject matter expert on Infor CloudSuite, providing guidance and best practices to clients and internal teamsCreate comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, configurations, and user guidesWorks collaboratively with the Practice Manager, PMO and Senior Leadership to improve project delivery and processesProvide thought leadership in the Infor Lawson space including delivery of presentations and creation of relevant contentCommit to becoming Infor Certified, demonstrating dedication to expertise and excellence in Infor technologyContribute to one or more webinars annually, including leading webinar organization and developing roadshows based on market and product knowledgeManage multiple projects and actively seek to maximize Utilization Rate (UTE), maintaining UTE at or above 88%SkillsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field7+ years' experience as a technical consultant with a focus on Infor CloudSuite solutionsStrong knowledge of Infor CloudSuite applications, including installation, configuration, and customizationExperience with data migration, integration, and performance tuningProficiency in programming languages (e.g., SQL, Java) and scripting languagesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team membersStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challengesWillingness to travel, as client requirements dictateMaster's degreeInfor CloudSuite certification(s) highly desiredProject management experience is a plusMinimum 10 years of experience as an Infor ConsultantFunctional area assessment high score and positive referralsCompany OverviewRPI Consultants provides Lawson optimization services for healthcare, education, public sector and financial services organizations.
