This role involves demonstrating market knowledge and software expertise to clients, establishing credibility, and contributing to product management and sales strategies.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate your specialist knowledge of the market in which our clients operate as well as of the software product or similar software productsEstablish the credibility needed to convince them our solution is the correct strategic choiceComfortable presenting to senior people, establishing immediate credibility with opinion formers and decision makersOperating as part of a team across sales, delivery services and product managementWorking on large, complex sales projects with high capital valuesAnalysing client requirements during discovery meetingsPreparing scenarios for demonstrationsConfiguring the platformDemonstrating the softwareFormulating appropriate responses and answering ad-hoc questions on functionality for prospectsRunning functional workshopsResponding to RFI/RFP documentsHelp in the development of new business opportunitiesUsing your knowledge of industry trends, regulatory change and competitor offerings to develop thought leadership positionsProvide input to the product management processAttendance and support at trade shows and client eventsWillingness to travel regularly across North America (including potentially occasional travel to Europe or South America)SkillsAt least 4 years' experience working within a software company as a Pre-Sales / Professional Services consultant in asset finance, or within an asset financing firm (or related consulting firm) in a client facing or operational roleIn-depth knowledge of asset finance as an industryIn-depth knowledge of the end-to-end front, middle and back office requirementsGood grasp of technology and technical concepts, sufficient to support scenario preparation requiring software configurationAnalytical and consultative approach to client engagements, evaluating business problems and proposing solutionsUnderstanding of the entire sales cycle, from market research through to contract signingEqually comfortable working independently or as part of a teamAbility to organise, prioritise, and multi-taskExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding presentation abilitiesFluency in English.
