[Remote] Senior Platform Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to improve and maintain their multi-cloud infrastructure and enhance their platform's security and observability. This role involves cross-team collaboration and requires a strong background in platform engineering within a fast-scaling AI company.ResponsibilitiesDesign, automate, and reduce the toil associated with maintaining ReflexAI’s multi-cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud and AWSDrive observability, reliability, and cost efficiencyCreate safe, reliable, scalable, and secure paths for software and systems to reach productionOwn the tooling that engineers use to build, test, and deploy codeStandardize pipelines, guard rails, and gold paths to accelerate developer velocityIntroduce and improve internal tooling that reduces operational overheadImprove on-call ergonomics and reduce MTTR through better instrumentationImplement best practices for secrets management, IAM, network security, vulnerability scanning, and container securityBuild automated checks and secure-by-default workflows into CI/CD and cloud environmentsCollaborate with Compliance and Security teams to ensure ReflexAI meets industry and customer expectationsSkills5–7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, and platform engineering rolesDeep hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (GCP and AWS) as well as Terraform and TerragruntStrong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, guard rails, and golden paths for modern application stacksProficiency in modern observability ecosystems (Datadog experience is a major plus)Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, container security, and network architectureExperience with AI-driven developmentExperience working in a fast-growing startup environmentBackend-related coding experience, primarily with TypescriptBackground supporting machine learning, model serving, or data-intensive workloadsExposure to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, HITRUST)Prior experience building internal developer platforms or paved-path toolingBenefitsFlexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the United StatesGenerous retirement, equity, healthcare, and PTO policiesCompany OverviewReflexAI provides organizations with tools that transform how they train, develop, and empower their frontline teams.
