[Remote] Senior Operations Analyst

The Senior Operations Analyst will support strategic business initiatives, manage business shared service processes, and collaborate across teams to implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships and partnerships with key business stakeholders, staying current on their needs, challenges and strategiesGather, synthesize, and analyze complex data to recognize trends and extract insights across the business to support your own informed decisions or to assist other team members and leadership in making decisionsDevelop and maintain expertise in relevant RT business processes and systems to define support requirements, design workflows, and provide guidance to shared service teamsUnderstand the current state, the future state and be able to articulate the impact by roleDefine operational support requirements and inputs by working with system solution owners and implementation teams to understand workflow strategic design and processesCollaborate with Shared Service strategic and process teams to stand up new process support and projectsCoordinate with Shared Service teams to review feedback from front office teams and monitor performance of supported processesHelp diagnose and develop recommendations to resolve and prevent issues across Shared Service supported front office processesAssist in maintenance of documentation related to workflows and handoffs across technical solutions, systems, and front- and back-office teamsIdentify best practices and improvement opportunities, propose new or optimized solutions and develop execution strategiesFacilitate change management initiatives by developing communications, collecting feedback to understand user pain points and identify ways to increase adoption and user satisfaction across business processes and solutions, ultimately improving the customer experienceLead or participate in multiple initiatives simultaneously, adapt to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilitiesProvide leadership to junior members through active collaborationSkillsBachelor's Degree (BS) and 2 - 5+ years of relevant experience required, preferably with consultative or business process outsourcing experience in a complex business environmentPrior experience in the property and casualty insurance industry is a MUSTExperience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusionsExperience handling multiple deliverables and moving adeptly between internal and external issues and interactions while meeting designated deadlinesAbility to cultivate interpersonal client, partner, co-worker and executive relationshipsAbility to perform job duties and manage workload with limited supervisionWillingness to learn new technologies and take on new responsibilitiesDemonstrating a strong work ethic and setting an example of excellenceAble to work in a dynamic, fast-moving company environmentExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsAbility to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and handle sensitive material concerning employees, the company, company partners, and end-customerExperience with insurance policy management/administration systems is desirableBasic knowledge of Organizational Change Management standards and proceduresProject management skills such as defining scope, maintaining project plans and driving project teams is desirableKnowledge of Insurance Industry preferred, not requiredKnowledge of Business Shared Services teams/ organizationKnowledge of Excel advanced functions, VLOOKUP, Pivot tables preferredProcess improvement integrationBenefitsPaid time off for company holidays, vacation, sick and personal daysPaid parental leaveMental health servicesFull-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefitsReasonable accommodations to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment in accordance with applicable lawCompany OverviewR-T Specialty, is an independent wholesale brokerage that provides specialty insurance services.
