[Remote] Senior Mechanical Engineer - Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Westinghouse Electric Co is a leading company in the nuclear energy industry, focused on providing clean energy solutions. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work with a multi-discipline team on the design, analysis, and evaluation of mechanical systems for nuclear projects.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop calculations and reports to document design and analysis results in accordance with ASME Section III code requirements and other international codes
ā¢ Interface with engineers in other disciplines such as electrical and civil/structural
ā¢ Participate on project teams with internal and/or external representation
ā¢ Participate in customer and vendor meetings to present technical materials and justification of services and product designs
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical (preferred), Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
ā¢ Engineering in Training (EIT) license
ā¢ 5 to 10 years of engineering experience
ā¢ Professional Engineer license is a plus
ā¢ Power industry (e.g., nuclear power plant) experience is a plus
