[Remote] Senior Mechanical Engineer - Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Westinghouse Electric Co is a leading company in the nuclear energy industry, focused on providing clean energy solutions. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work with a multi-discipline team on the design, analysis, and evaluation of mechanical systems for nuclear projects.
Responsibilities
⢠Develop calculations and reports to document design and analysis results in accordance with ASME Section III code requirements and other international codes
⢠Interface with engineers in other disciplines such as electrical and civil/structural
⢠Participate on project teams with internal and/or external representation
⢠Participate in customer and vendor meetings to present technical materials and justification of services and product designs
Skills
⢠Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical (preferred), Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
⢠Engineering in Training (EIT) license
⢠5 to 10 years of engineering experience
⢠Professional Engineer license is a plus
⢠Power industry (e.g., nuclear power plant) experience is a plus
