[Remote] Senior Mechanical Engineer

The role involves owning the mechanical design and development of custom cooling solutions, collaborating with various teams, and mentoring junior engineers.ResponsibilitiesDesign and optimize systems involving pumps, valves, piping, and flow control devicesApply FEA, CFD, DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFMA tools across the full product lifecycleCollaborate with Sales, R&D, and Operations from concept through commercializationSelect materials and develop piping layouts (PVC, Stainless Steel, Copper, HDPE, and more)Build BOMs and own technical documentation for designs moving into productionMentor junior engineers and help set the technical standard for the teamSkillsBSME or equivalent engineering experience3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience — HVAC background strongly preferredCFD (computational fluid dynamics) experience preferredProficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, DraftSight, or RevitStrong cross-functional communicator who can manage multiple projects in parallelP.E. license or MSME a plusOccasional monthly travel required to customer and manufacturing sitesHVAC background strongly preferredCFD (computational fluid dynamics) experience preferredP.E. license or MSME a plusCompany OverviewStorm4 is a specialist GreenTech recruitment marketplace, connecting organizations with the senior talent to drive their mission.
