[Remote] Senior Manager, Software Engineering - Data Platform & AI Enablement

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DoubleVerify is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for their Data Foundation & AI Data Access team. This role will lead the teams responsible for the core data platform and ensure effective data delivery and access for internal teams and customers, while also focusing on AI-enabled workflows.ResponsibilitiesLead engineering teams responsible for data ingress, pipelines, datalake adoption, Data APIs, permissions, and data access interfacesOwn execution and technical direction across Rockerbox’s data foundation and customer-facing data access layersEnsure reliable, timely, and scalable client data deliveryAlign ingestion, aggregation, API access, permissions, and AI-enabled data workflows under clear ownershipPartner with Product, Applications, Integrations, Data Science, Customer Success, and DV stakeholders on platform strategyEnable internal teams and customers to access Rockerbox data through APIs, CLI tooling, and future agentic workflowsImprove team efficiency through automation, reduced maintenance burden, and clearer ownershipManage, develop, and retain engineers through a period of organizational transitionReduce bottlenecks between Data, Applications, and customer-facing product developmentSkillsExperience managing engineering teams responsible for data platforms, pipelines, APIs, or infrastructureStrong technical judgment across data architecture, data reliability, and application-facing access patternsProven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Customer SuccessTrack record of delivering platform improvements with measurable business impactAbility to operate at broader organizational scope beyond a single functional teamStrong people leadership, communication, and execution skillsExperience with datalake or warehouse adoption across multiple teamsExperience building Data APIs, permissions systems, or customer-facing data access layersExperience with AI-enabled workflows, LLM tooling, or agentic data access patternsExperience reducing operational load through automationFamiliarity with marketing analytics, MTA, MMM, testing, and customer data platformsCompany OverviewDoubleVerify is a software platform that specializes in digital media verification and advertising technology.
