CentralSquare Technologies is seeking a Sr. Manager of Product Management who will be a strategic leader responsible for defining product vision and driving business outcomes in the Public Sector space. This role involves managing product development, leading a team of Product Managers, and leveraging AI tools to create innovative solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of product management professionals in the development of both strategic and tactical deliverablesManage team of Product Managers, budget, and associated resourcesAssist in the assignment and management of a large cross-functional team to deliver product development results, leading through influence and by exampleDevelop and manage product line strategy and executionCreate product roadmap to support our business strategy, leverage strong process and project management abilities to envision, manage product lifecycle from idea inception, support go-to-market plans, and lead with a customer first mindsetBecome an expert within CentralSquare on the Public-Sector market segment, current and futureLeverage AI tools to accelerate product management deliverables and customer outcomesProvide SaaS thought leadership and direction as new SaaS applications are created and for the re-engineering of existing capabilitiesDevelop the requirements for highly differentiated Public-Sector solutions, products, and/or services, including strategy definition, requirements analysis, and delineation of the market opportunityProvide timely and effective reports of product performance for development and product release plansCollaborate with team to get feedback from the field on new feature requirements and enhancements in efforts to drive product utilizationConduct market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer targets and their needsApply learnings to current products and in ideation sessions for the development of new products or solutionsParticipate in sales, business development, and existing customer calls or meetings as appropriate to hear and understand first-hand the needs and requirements of prospects and customersEnsure product development processes adhere to Agile (or similar) principles and align with company resource planning and allocation effortsArticulate new product features and benefits to internal groups, including marketing and salesStewardship of products from concept to launchManage the P&L of the product line and demonstrated success in expanding into adjacenciesPerforms all other duties as assignedSkillsMaster's in Business or Computer Science preferred (or equivalent experience)5+ years of software Product Management experiencePrevious experience managing a team of Product Managers (Public Safety products or industry experience preferred)Pragmatic Product Management Certified is a plusStrong background leveraging and incorporating AI tools to optimize internal workflows and improve customer outcomesDemonstrate a deep understanding of successfully planning and launching customer-facing AI solutionsHands on design experience with enterprise B2B applications for both technical and business usersExperience defining technical product features from inception to executionPassion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver great solutionsA track-record for building software that is both efficient and effective with exceptional user experienceExcellent strategic thinking and prioritization skillsAbility to create a winning roadmap to achieve business goals while making difficult trade-off decisionsDemonstrable organizational and project management skills are requiredMust be able to know how to do research, mine data, and apply strategic thinking to executive-level pitches and presentationsStrong analytical, verbal, written communications, and presentation skills requiredExperience with defining, designing, implementing, and managing various product management and development methodologies; including using AI tools for deliveryThorough understanding of PM skills, processes, best practices, and possesses the ability to teach othersSaaS experience is preferredCompany OverviewCentralSquare Technologies is the trusted provider of public sector software in North America.
