[Remote] Senior Manager - Federal Financial Reporting Lead

The Federal Financial Reporting Manager will lead federal financial reporting operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering high-quality financial reporting packages while managing contract performance and liaising with stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesManage staffing, work assignments, schedules, deliverables, risks, meeting cadence, and overall contract performanceLead or review federal financial statements, footnotes, trial balances, adjusted trial balances, edit checks, flux analysis, and financial reporting packagesReview deliverables for accuracy, completeness, consistency, clarity, and audit-readiness prior to submissionCoordinate responses to audit inquiries, PBC requests, corrective action items, and auditor follow-up activitiesPrepare or review monthly status reports, dashboards, leadership briefings, issue papers, and executive updatesIdentify reporting, audit, compliance, and operational risks and drive corrective actions to resolutionServe as the primary interface with Government stakeholders and internal leadership teamsSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field10+ years of experience in federal financial reporting, federal accounting, or financial management5+ years of experience working with OMB A-136, USSGL, FASAB, Treasury reporting, GTAS, and federal financial statement preparation3+ years of experience managing federal financial management teams, deliverables, client communications, and reporting deadlinesExperience supporting year-end close activities and accelerated federal reporting timelinesStrong quality control and audit support experience related to federal financial reporting deliverablesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with executive leadership and Government stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced federal consulting environmentExperience with Oracle Federal Financials, UFMS, or similar federal financial management systemsExperience supporting federal financial statement audits and corrective action initiativesCPA, CGFM, or CDFM certificationBenefitsMajor medical benefits such as dental and vision coverageA 401(k)-contribution planHoliday and personal time offProfessional development training & certification benefitsHealth & wellness subsidiesPaid time off for community serviceCompany OverviewBlake Willson Group provides compilation, reporting, auditing, risk monitoring, mitigation and project management services.
