[Remote] Senior Healthcare IT Project Manager

This full-time, remote role involves managing multiple healthcare IT projects, mentoring junior project managers, and driving strategic enterprise initiatives in complex hospital systems.ResponsibilitiesManage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through closureDefine project scope, objectives, milestones, budgets, and success metrics with sponsors and stakeholdersEstablish and facilitate project governance to ensure leadership alignment and issue resolutionAct as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goalsDevelop project plans, communication plans, schedules, and budgets using standard PM toolsEstimate, plan, and manage project costs and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget deliveryIdentify project dependencies, critical paths, risks, and mitigation strategiesProactively manage scope, schedule, and resource changes, escalating when necessaryFacilitate regular project meetings and provide clear, actionable status reportingTrack and report project progress, risks, and next steps to senior leadershipResolve issues and conflicts or escalate appropriatelyCollaborate with organizational performance improvement teamsCoach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractorsConduct lessons learned sessions and contribute to continuous improvement and PM best practicesSupport the development and maintenance of project management standards, tools, and processesSkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare, or a related field6+ years of hands-on project management experienceStrong working knowledge of formal project management methodologiesPMP and/or Lean Six Sigma certification (required within one year of hire, if not already obtained)Demonstrated experience leveraging Lean process improvement methodologiesAdvanced organizational, analytical, and communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Outlook) and project management softwareAbility to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organizationExperience mentoring, coaching, or guiding junior project managersFlexibility to occasionally work outside normal business hours to meet project deadlinesBenefitsComprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time offGreat benefits, work life balance and company cultureCompany OverviewGet ready to partner with Gulf Coast Automation Group, a trusted leader in recruiting, staffing, sourcing, consulting, and payment solutions.
