[Remote] Senior Healthcare Data Analyst

As a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst, you will be a mission-critical part of the finance team, helping to build data assets and processes that provide insight into medical expenses and risk adjustment performance.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate mastery of SQL and BI tools (e.g., Tableau or Looker) to efficiently derive complex datasets and dashboardsServe as the Sr Data Analyst for the monthly enterprise reporting process. This will include taking a leading role reviewing reporting domains such as patient engagement, HEDIS, CMS HCC compliance and additional as necessarySupport the financial and operational team to understand business performance and identify areas for improvementDevelop, implement and maintain consistent process for data quality controls to ensure data integrity and make recommendations to improve data integrityConduct analytics and reporting using data from payer claims, CMS files, electronic medical records, and other sources to deliver actionable insights to various teamsFulfill ad hoc data requests for stakeholdersWork directly with product and Engineering teams to define data requirements for payer data ingestion and data warehousingMaintain clean and well-documented codeWork with team-members to develop and continuously improve best practicesMentor othersSkills4+ years experience in healthcare data analytics or healthcare economics4+ years experience with analytic and modeling tools and software (SAS, SQL, Python, R, etc)Demonstrated understanding of key managed care concepts such as Risk Adjustment, Provider Capitation, Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG's), Ambulatory Patient Groups (APF's), etcAbility to review new datasets for accuracy and consult with key stakeholders to contextualize data inconsistencies and the resulting impact to reporting and measurement designExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with government healthcare programs such as Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and MedicaidFamiliarity with value-based careIntermediate to advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Looker) is a plusCompany OverviewAccompany Health provides comprehensive in-home care to patients who live in sometimes underserved regions.
