[Remote] Senior GIS Developer/Analyst

As a Senior GIS Developer/Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and editing spatial data, maintaining geospatial databases, and supporting field activities as needed.ResponsibilitiesCreating and editing spatial data and mapping products and performing junior level geospatial analyses in support of our service lines and key areas of workGenerating, editing, and maintaining relational geospatial databasesAssist in updating and maintaining mapping standards and work processesAt times, supporting field activities as a field second (workload dependent)SkillsPossess an undergraduate degree in a related discipline or technical diploma8+ years of experience in a similar roleUnderstanding of geographic and projected coordinate systems and transformationsProficient with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop software suite and extensionsProficient with ESRI ArcProWorking knowledge of ESRI Field Maps and Survey 123 data collection servicesGIS Programming experience using technology such as Python, Arcade, R, JavaScript, C#, SQL, and related skillsAn ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, regulations, drawings and job specificationsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Industry experience in the Environmental or Consulting spaceESRI Enterprise GeodatabasesESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal) / OnlineFME or ESRI model builderExperience with linear infrastructure projects such as pipelinesAutoCAD Map or Civil 3DField experience (along with applicable certifications)Experience in project planning and coordinationExperience or interest in utilizing AI toolsExperience or interest in mentorship of junior staffCompany OverviewOnterris (formerly Montrose Environmental Group) was one of the first to see environmental responsibility as not just an imperative but as a strategic asset.
