They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to support features and architecture, ensuring user confidence while driving platform growth and scalability.ResponsibilitiesCollaborating within your team to build new features that are targeted at our highest impact enterprise customersContributing to platform scaling initiativesMeeting regularly with Product and Design to fine tune requirementsAttending agile ceremonies to help your team plan out their work and get it doneWorking across squads to improve Engineering practices at CalendlyReviewing implementation plans and pull requests from your peersMentoring and coaching other team membersSkills7-10 years of professional software development experience in a SaaS or technology-driven environmentStrong, hands-on full-stack engineering skills, with the ability to independently design, build, and ship production changes across frontend and backend systemsExperience building and maintaining Node.js services that interface with distributed APIs, LLMs, or similar mixed-stack environmentsHands-on experience with Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), microservices, and involvement in monolith-to-services modernization or large-scale refactoring initiativesProven ability to own features end-to-end, including technical discovery, design, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing maintenanceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex systems, identify root causes of issues, and deliver scalable, maintainable solutionsA commitment to writing clean, reliable, and maintainable code, with an emphasis on readability, simplicity, and performanceAdaptability to new technologies, evolving architectural patterns, and changing organizational prioritiesExperience using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) as productivity tools, with a clear understanding of generated code and the ability to defend implementation choicesAvailability for participation in an on-call rotation, ensuring timely and effective responses to critical production issues outside of regular working hoursAuthorized to work lawfully in the United States, as Calendly does not offer immigration sponsorship at this timeBenefitsAll full-time (30 hours/week) employees are also eligible for our Top Performer Bonus program (or Sales incentive)Equity awardsCompetitive benefitsCompany OverviewCalendly is a modern scheduling platform that helps individuals, teams, and organizations automate meeting by removing the back and forth.
