Tax Consultant II, SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)
Deloitte is a leading professional services firm, and they are seeking a Tax Consultant II in their Global Trade Services practice. The role involves leading business process modeling for GTS projects, collaborating with clients to define requirements, and ensuring compliance with regulations while implementing SAP solutions. Responsibilities Lead and/or facilitate business process definition and modeling for GTS projects Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for GTS projects Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development and configuration Coordinate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within SAP GTS solutions Guide a team to implement and configure the software to replicate the required business processes and analytical/reporting needs Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and client teams Ensure that SAP GTS solutions comply with relevant regulations, standards, and organizational policies Develop your knowledge of and gain project experience in SAP's newest and future solutions such as SAP S/4 & SAP GTS, Edition for HANA Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and business teams, to ensure seamless service delivery and support Skills Bachelor's degree in a legal, business or technology related field Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week 1+ years relevant SAP consulting or industry experience with a demonstrated understanding of the supply chain management processes Proven experience in other SAP modules other than SAP GTS along with technical knowledge in ABAP and SAP PL Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Ability to travel up to 10-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain: Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA, If not CPA eligible: Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, Certifications: CUSECO (Certified U.S. Export Control Officer), CUSICO (Certified US Import Compliance Officer), CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Project Management; Professional (PMP), Other: Vendor certification for management of implementations (Oracle, SAP, Thomson Reuters, etc.) or relevant industry certification such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), AWS (Amazon Web Services) or GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Experience implementing one or more of the following SAP GTS Modules: (Compliance Management, Customs Management, Trade Preference) Knowledge of export regulations including ITAR/EAR Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers Strong research, writing, verbal communication, and project management skills utilizing PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and/or Visio Understanding of end to end processes and attention to detailed design Benefits Discretionary annual incentive program Company Overview Deloitte is a business consulting company that offers audit, consulting, financial advisory, and tax services.
