[Remote] Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will support financial reporting and analysis related to technology cloud spending, develop budgets and forecasts, and monitor cloud cost management performance indicators.ResponsibilitiesServe as Finance Analyst/Lead to cloud product deployment projects and servicesProvide financial support on budget reconciliation process, variance report and research against budget/forecasts. Provides financial support as required during financial gap analysisLeads the monthly close process, journal entries, understands variances between actuals vs. forecast/budget pertaining to trendsAbility to deliver high quality analysis independently, leveraging spreadsheet and other quantitative tools i.e., MS Power BI (a plus)Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends and anomalies that may indicate cost control weaknesses or potential risksPartner with engineering and finance to understand cost analytic needs and identify high-impact opportunities to improve the chargeback process and implement sound analytical solutionDevelop and maintain automated chargeback and workflows to streamline chargeback processes and improve efficiencyA plus, if ability to visualize data and apply data insights using tools such as Power BI, Power Query, writing analytical expressions i.e. DAX and MDXSkillsMinimum of 5 years of job-related experienceBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related fieldStrong math skills or a background in finance, analytics, statistics, and ability to deal with anomalies are essentialUnderstanding or exposure to Cloud Cost management and best practices i.e., showback and chargeback (a plus)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ability to manipulate data extracts using Excel dynamic and logical formulasData science experience, i.e., Tableau, Power Query, Power BI (a plus)Motivated self-starter with capacity to manage multiple prioritiesUnderstanding of and adherence to Accounting policies and SOX controlsAbility to deliver high quality analysis independently, leveraging spreadsheet and other quantitative tools i.e., MS Power BI (a plus)Ability to visualize data and apply data insights using tools such as Power BI, Power Query, writing analytical expressions i.e. DAX and MDXCompany OverviewInterSources Inc. solves operational problems where protection, performance, compliance, AI, and workforce capability must work together.
