They are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Finance Manager to lead planning, forecasting, and performance management processes, improving financial visibility and decision support across the business.ResponsibilitiesLead the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and long-range planning processes across business functions, ensuring alignment with company objectivesPrepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and clear commentary for leadershipDevelop and maintain robust financial models to support scenario planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiativesPartner closely with business partners including Investor Relations and Corporate Development, to evaluate performance, identify risks and opportunities, and improve financial visibility across the organizationAnalyze revenue, margin, operating expenses, and cash flow drivers to support better decision-making and resource allocationOwn KPI reporting and performance dashboards, helping translate financial and operational metrics into actionable insightsSupport executive leadership with ad hoc analyses, board materials, and decision support for critical business initiativesPartner with corporate and regional accounting and finance teams to monitor local accounting matters, operating results, and region-specific financial risks and opportunitiesProvide financial oversight across regions by analyzing performance trends, supporting issue resolution, and helping ensure alignment between regional results and consolidated reportingIdentify and lead opportunities to enhance FP&A processes, systems, and reporting capabilities through technology enablement, including system integrations, automation, and AI-driven toolsAssist with strategic finance initiatives, including M&A and other Corporate Development activitiesDevelop and maintain detailed cash flow models and three-statement financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-makingSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field8–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or related finance/accounting rolesStrong foundation in finance and accounting principles, with the ability to connect operational performance to financial outcomesAdvanced financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skillsExperience preparing management reporting, executive presentations, and decision-support analyses for senior leadersDemonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with leaders across finance and non-finance teamsStrong Excel skills requiredExcellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong proficiency in three-statement financial modeling, integrated forecasting, and cash flow modeling is requiredMBA or other advanced degreeExperience with ERP systems, planning tools, and reporting platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, Adaptive, Anaplan, Power BI, or similar toolsCPA, CFA, or CMA is a plus, but not requiredExperience and interest in agriculture, agribusiness, climate technology, sustainability, or other complex/high-growth environmentsBenefitsEquity options & annual cash incentivesGenerous paid time off, including Flexible Time Off, 5 sick days, and 12 annual company holidays as well as one week between Christmas and New Year’s for a company-wide annual break, parental leave, and bereavement leave.Robust wellness benefits for employees and their eligible dependents including medical, dental, vision, mental health, and basic life and disability insuranceOptional benefits available include Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA), identity protection, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance401K savings planCompany OverviewIndigo is an agricultural technology company that focuses on improving sustainability and profitability in farming practices.
