They are seeking a Senior Field Reimbursement Expert to manage patient access and reimbursement activities, ensuring providers are educated on coding and reimbursement policies while building strong relationships within the assigned geography.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain strategic relationships with providers and outpatient facility accounts within your assigned geographyPartner with field sales in assigned geographic area to build strong engagement and positive customer experiencesEducate and ensure providers understand coding and billing requirements for Alcon equipment and devicesAnalyze local market data and healthcare dynamics to help inform business planning with field teamsServe as the subject matter expert in the training and deployment of Value Tools for the Alcon portfolio of productsProvide managed care and reimbursement training and educational activities for internal and external stakeholders, as necessaryRemain current on key reimbursement and policy activities, as well as serve as an expert on Ophthalmic business trends within key provider accountsEnsure all pertinent information regarding current products, new products, competitive data and overall information important to Alcon is shared with home office teamsRepresent Alcon at various industry functions such reimbursement meetings, professional organization meetings, and other meetings as assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English7 Years of Relevant ExperienceCategory 3 experienceRetina Sales Experience or Retina ExperienceAccount Management and/or Reimbursement experience working in the provider office setting, proven track-record of building strong customer relationshipsMedical Practice Management or certified professional coder experience would be consideredExperience working collaboratively in a matrix organizationExperience working with billing and medical claims personnel in healthcare settings preferredBenefitsHealthLifeRetirementFlexible time offCompany OverviewAlcon helps people see brilliantly.
