About the position The Senior Business Systems Analyst at Starbucks plays a crucial role in enhancing the Master Data systems, particularly focusing on Location Master data. This position involves collaborating with business and technology teams to identify and design improvements, providing user support, and ensuring system integrity. The analyst will also participate in data governance processes and present proposals for system enhancements. Responsibilities • Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather and document business requirements for Master Data Location systems. , • Help design and develop new and improved processes, tools, and system enhancements to support business unit requirements. , • Participate with IT developers in testing changes and implementations to ensure functionality and user acceptance. , • Document and communicate to business partners, providing release notes, job-aids, reference materials, and end-user training. , • Support cross-functional projects, adding value to the enterprise and customers as a subject matter expert. , • Assess benefits derived from systems improvements and quantify impact to business units. , • Analyze current processes, data, tools, or systems and make recommendations for development, improvement, or simplification. , • Maintain the integrity and functionality of master data systems, analyze data and problems, and recommend solutions. , • Support production issues and research, design standardized reports, or create ad-hoc reports or data queries. Requirements • 5 years of end-user support and training experience. , • 5 years of experience with applicable business systems. , • 5 years of functional experience in relevant areas. , • 5 years of systems design, testing, and implementation experience. , • 2 years of project management experience. , • 2 years of script development and application testing experience.
