This role requires strong leadership and strategic thinking to drive product innovation and market growth.ResponsibilitiesOwn the Outbound Product StrategyDefine and lead the outbound product strategy for assigned domains, from positioning through launch and lifecycle optimizationTranslate product capabilities into clear value propositions, differentiated messaging, and market‑ready offersCreate and maintain product launch frameworks, including target segments, pricing logic, packaging, sales plays, and success metricsDrive Go‑to‑Market ExecutionLead multifunctional launch teams to bring new products and features to market quickly, with quality and disciplinePartner with Sales, Sales Enablement, and Marketing to ensure readiness across training, tools, content, and field executionDevelop and sustain strategic sales motions, including executive selling scenarios, competitive strategy, and customer proof pointsShape the Product Roadmap from the Market BackRepresent market, customer, and revenue insights concerning Product Management and Engineering planning cyclesSize customer and market opportunities and develop business cases that target roadmap investments based on growth, profitability, and strategic fitManage short‑term revenue opportunities with long‑term platform and portfolio evolutionOperate as a Cross‑Functional LeaderWork closely with Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Partners to ensure offers are technically sound, operationally viable, and financially solidBuild alignment at the executive level by communicating tradeoffs, risks, and outcomes clearlyAnticipate and resolve issues that could impair launch success, customer experience, or commercial performanceMeasure, Learn, and OptimizeDefine success metrics for launches and ongoing performance such as adoption, attach, churn, margin, and revenueUse market data, customer feedback, and performance analytics to improve positioning, packaging, and sales executionContinuously improve how Lumen brings products to market—simplifying where possible, innovating where neededLeadership ScopeSenior leadership role with significant influence across Product, GTM, and SalesHigh visibility with executive stakeholdersExpected to mentor and develop product leaders and outbound talentSkills10+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or go‑to‑market leadership rolesDemonstrated success launching and scaling complex technology products in B2B or enterprise environmentsStrong experience working with Sales organizations on commercialization, enablement, and revenue accelerationProven ability to influence executive stakeholders through data, judgment, and clear storytellingExperience with network services, cloud connectivity, digital platforms, or infrastructure‑enabled servicesFamiliarity with enterprise buying motions, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles, and partner ecosystemsExperience developing pricing, packaging, and offer constructs at scaleBenefitsLumen offers a comprehensive package featuring a broad range of Health, Life, Voluntary Lifestyle benefits and other perks that enhance your physical, mental, emotional and financial wellbeing.We're able to answer any additional questions you may have about our bonus structure (short-term incentives, long-term incentives and/or sales compensation) as you move through the selection process.Company OverviewLumen delivers the most secure platform for applications and data to help businesses, government and communities deliver amazing experiences It was founded in 1968, and is headquartered in Monroe, Louisiana, USA, with a workforce of 10001+ employees.
