[Remote] Senior Data Analyst

This role involves owning analytics engagements, developing BI solutions, and leading AI-enabled analytics pilots to inform the company's strategy.ResponsibilitiesOwn analytics engagements with cross-functional stakeholders end-to-end — from requirements gathering through delivery and adoption — for new and improved BI solutionsDevelop, test, publish, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using data from multiple sources (Snowflake, Web (API), etc.)Maintain Power BI reports post-launch — gathering stakeholder feedback, supporting users, and managing workspace and report-level permissionsTransform and analyze multiple data sources from Suvoda’s systemsBuild and maintain dbt models in Snowflake to support Power BI reportingBuild and maintain centralized semantic models / Datasets (Power BI) for departmental reporting, including custom measures, summary tables, etcUtilize Power Query to further clean and format data for analysisLeverage AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate SQL, dbt, and Power BI developmentMaintain Suvoda’s business glossary, consolidating metrics calculations from Power BI, dbt, and SQL and cataloging business-critical system fields with links to terms and definitionsSupport the Senior Manager, Data Analytics in piloting AI-enabled analytics workflows — including text-to-SQL on Snowflake — to enable self-service exploration for internal stakeholdersPresent analytics findings to senior stakeholders and recommend new/adjusted KPIs to inform business decisionsContribute to team planning and roadmap prioritization with the Senior Manager, Data Analytics, and mentor junior analysts on SQL, dbt, and Power BI best practicesSkills5+ years' experience in business analyst, data analyst, strategy analyst, process analyst or similar role5+ years' experience using a business analytics service or tool: Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or equivalent5+ years' experience in one or more of the following: SQL (preferred), dbt, DAX, Python or equivalentExperience with Snowflake or an equivalent cloud data warehouse (Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift) preferredProficient in Excel, Salesforce, Jira, and standard analytics and presentation toolsSelf-starter with a passion for continuous learning and creative problem solvingDemonstrated experience partnering with senior stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives, including leading discovery, driving adoption, and influencing decisionsHands-on experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and/or text-to-SQL or other LLM-based analytics toolsCompany OverviewSuvoda provides clinical trial management software and services.
