- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each student's strengths and weaknesses.
- Stay current with curriculum development and educational best practices to ensure the tutoring approach is innovative and effective.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of learning and a sense of belonging.
Experience
- Experience working with students, particularly in early childhood education or special education settings.
- Experience teaching in a classroom or tutoring setting, with a focus on individualized instruction.
- A background in adult education is also desirable, as the Tutor will work with students of all ages and abilities.
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching students, including those with special needs.
- Strong knowledge of educational curriculum and instructional methods.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Experience in developing and implementing curricula that cater to diverse student needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
