Compensation: $70,000- $75,000 DOE
CPA firm is looking for a full-time Experienced Senior Bookkeeper, with recent public accounting experience, to join their Client Accounting Services (CAS) team.
As an Experienced Bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include:
ā¢ Assigning all new Accounting Services clients to the appropriate staff person.
ā¢ Reassigning jobs to maintain level workload with effective delegation of work to team members.
ā¢ Monitoring workload and status of work deliverables.
ā¢ Developing standards and procedures to ensure consistency of general services jobs.
ā¢ Providing timely and meaningful feedback to CAS Director for use in annual evaluations of staff members.
ā¢ Review financial statements prepared by staff on multiple bases of accounting.
ā¢ Meet with current and prospective clients to assess needs, make recommendations for bookkeeping procedures and technology offerings, and provide training as needed.
ā¢ Provide client support as needed.
Education, experience, and skills:
ā¢ Minimum of 5 years experience as a full charge bookkeeper
ā¢ Accounting or Business degree required
ā¢ Well-rounded knowledge and technical skills in the area of bookkeeping services.
ā¢ Experience using and knowledge of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
ā¢ Ability to lead, direct and instruct CAS associates.
ā¢ Ability to work in a professional manner with confidence and ease in the presence of staff and client representatives.
ā¢ Ability to delegate effectively.
