[Remote] Senior Application Analyst - Pharmacy

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Main Line Health is entering the second phase of its retail and specialty pharmacy expansion and is seeking a dedicated pharmacist with strong Epic build experience. The Senior Application Analyst - Pharmacy will focus on designing and optimizing Epic workflows to support patient enrollment into specialty programs and implementing functionality to track outreach attempts and engagement.ResponsibilitiesDesigning and optimizing Epic workflows to support patient enrollment into specialty programsDeveloping defined outreach schedules that trigger automated follow-upsImplementing functionality to track outreach attempts and engagementSkillsMinimum of 5-7 years recent healthcare information systems or clinical management systems experienceEpic experience strongly preferredLarge scale healthcare systems planning and implementation experience on application software productsFamiliarity with Pharmacy formulary distribution and billing systemsWorking knowledge of computerized reference databases such as MicroMedex, Clinical Pharmacology, Facts & ComparisonsWorking knowledge of applicable pharmacy order entry and dispensing automation systems. Experience with other pharmacy systems a plusUp-to-date knowledge of drug laws and agency regulations, including but not limited to DEA, FDA, OSHA, TJC, PA DOH, and Pennsylvania Board of PharmacyUp-to-Date knowledge of drugs carried on Formulary and new drugs introduced to the marketBachelor of Science, Pharmacy - from an accredited university program requiredCurrent Epic certification(s) and/or appropriate certification as defined by role (if applicable to application(s) or must be willing to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completed testingPennsylvania pharmacy license or eligibility for one within probationary period, and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy, requiredEpic experience strongly preferredAdvanced training or master's degree in information Services strongly preferredCompany OverviewMain Line Health (MLH) is a not-for-profit health system serving portions of Philadelphia and its western suburbs.
