This role involves turning ambiguous product ideas into shippable mobile experiences across iOS and Android while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences.ResponsibilitiesTurn ambiguous product ideas into clear plans, tradeoffs, success measures, and shippable solutionsShape mobile experiences across iOS and Android with strong product and platform judgmentPartner closely with product, design, data, and engineering peers to refine requirements and improve the customer experienceBuild primarily in native mobile codebases while contributing to backend or API layers when needed to deliver the full experienceLaunch features with an appropriate approach to testing, rollout, monitoring, and risk managementFollow features into production, evaluate performance and customer behavior, and iterate based on what you learnStrengthen the team through code review, design feedback, mentoring, and high engineering standardsSkillsSignificant experience building and shipping production mobile applications on iOS or Android, with strong depth in one platform and the ability or willingness to contribute to the otherA track record of owning features end to end, from ambiguous problem definition through launch and post-launch iterationStrong product and business judgment and can connect technical decisions to customer impactPractical experience using AI-assisted development tools or automation in your day-to-day work, while maintaining accountability for quality, correctness, and customer experienceEffective collaboration with cross-functional partners, including product managers, designers, data partners, and other engineersComfortable working across the stack when needed, including mobile clients, APIs, services, and data-informed decision-makingStrong operational discipline, including experience with production support, monitoring, debugging, and using signals to guide improvementsBenefitsIn addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.Company OverviewZillow is an online real estate marketplace for finding and sharing information about homes, real estate, and mortgages.
