They are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant II for their Client Accounting Services team, responsible for managing complex accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and supporting diverse clients while guiding junior staff.ResponsibilitiesPrepare timely and accurate monthly/quarterly property financial statements for a 4 to 6 property portfolio by the deadlines established by the clientPrepare and distribute monthly/quarterly financial reports β prepare monthly/quarterly journal entries, financial statement preparation and bank reconciliations within stated controls and client reporting requirementsGain a complete understanding of the internal accounting requirements as well as work to ensure requirements are met as established by the clientFunction as a resource to site property teams as required coordinating procedures, responding to accounting questions, and responding to client questionsOversee internal and external audits and coordinate with various departments on requirementsOversee bank reconciliations, cash management for loan servicing, disbursement processing and external reportingCoordinate Accounts Payable process β review invoice coding and approvals, and ensure compliance with all appropriate controls that are in placeAssist with annual budget preparation β compile key assumptions and capital budget information, review for reasonableness and ensure timely and accurate entry into the accounting systemAnnual year-end reconciliation process β Assist in the preparation, calculation and review of the year-end reconciliation process.
