[Remote] Senior Accountant

They are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy while driving process improvements.ResponsibilitiesManage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including vendor invoices, collections, and customer account reconciliationsMaintain the General Ledger with accurate journal entries, proper account coding, and regular reconciliationsExecute daily bank reconciliations and cash management tasksOwn the complete monthly close process, including accrual adjustments and variance analysisPrepare timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for internal management and stakeholdersLead quarterly and annual close processes, coordinating with auditors and ensuring audit-ready documentation year-roundManage multi-state sales tax reporting, filings, and registrationsEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls, including payroll tax and corporate tax preparation supportWork across QuickBooks and NetSuite to manage data integrity and system configurationsIdentify process bottlenecks and recommend automation or system improvementsPartner with Sales, Operations, and FP&A teams to provide timely financial data and support business decisionsSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or bookkeeping certification is a plus5-7 years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience (AP, AR, GL, close, reporting)Proficiency in QuickBooks; experience with NetSuite, Ramp, or other cloud-based accounting systems preferredProven experience in a technology, SaaS, or startup environment managing rapid growth and changing financial needsHands-on experience using AI-driven tools to streamline accounting workflows, automate reconciliations, and enhance reporting accuracyAdvanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis)Experience managing multi-entity or international accounting (U.S./UK operations)Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and complianceStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with NetSuite, Ramp, or other cloud-based accounting systemsBenefitsGenerous health-insurance package with nationwide coverage, vision, & dental401(k) retirement plan with employer matchingCompetitive PTO policy – we want our employees fresh, healthy, happy, and energized!Generous family leave policy after 8 months of continuous workWork from anywhere to facilitate your work life balanceApple laptop, large second monitor, and other quality-of-life equipment you may want.
