This role focuses on expanding existing accounts and winning new business with enterprise software solutions, requiring strong relationship-building skills and a proven track record in enterprise sales.ResponsibilitiesOwn and grow a portfolio of Public Sector accounts, driving both net-new revenue and expansion within existing customersBuild and execute strategic account plans to deepen relationships and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunitiesGenerate new pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, and partner collaborationEngage senior stakeholders and position Octave as a long-term strategic partnerLead complex deal cycles, including RFP/RFI processes, pricing strategy, and negotiationsDevelop compelling business cases and ROI-driven value propositionsPartner cross-functionally with consulting, marketing, and customer teams to maximize account growth and customer successMaintain strong pipeline coverage and consistently exceed quotaSkills5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota ($1M+ preferred)Experience selling into Public Sector organizations (State, Local Government, Education)Proven ability to both expand existing accounts and close net-new businessStrong executive presence and relationship-building skillsSelf-starter mentality with the ability to generate pipeline independentlyExperience selling solutions related to asset management, infrastructure, capital projects, operations management, or compliance within Public Sector organizations is a plusCompany OverviewOctave provides mission-critical software that empowers organizations to make informed decisions across every stage of the asset lifecycle.
