The role involves generating and managing pipeline, conducting discovery and demos, building proposals, and closing new merchant accounts while collaborating closely with Shopify's sales teams.ResponsibilitiesOwn the full sales cycle Manage opportunities end-to-end from first touch through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closeBuild and manage pipeline Generate new business through a mix of inbound (Shopify referrals, marketplace, marketing-sourced leads) and proactive outbound prospecting. Maintain enough qualified pipeline to consistently hit and exceed quotaSell consultatively Lead value-based conversations with founders, ecommerce managers, and marketing leaders.
