[Remote] Search Engine Optimization Specialist

WolfPack Advising is seeking an SEO Specialist to improve website visibility and drive organic traffic while supporting client marketing objectives through effective SEO strategies. This role involves onboarding clients, optimizing website content, and monitoring performance using various tools, with opportunities for growth within the company. Responsibilities Fully onboard clients to our SEO tools Optimize Google Business Profiles & Manage Client Citations Conduct keyword research to identify optimization opportunities Optimize website content, metadata, and structure to align with SEO best practices Execute on-page and technical SEO strategies to enhance website performance Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to track SEO performance Create regular reports detailing traffic, rankings, and key metrics Identify trends and recommend adjustments to improve results Creating monthly reporting videos to explain KPIs and campaign performance to clients Regularly communicating with clients via email, phone calls, and Google Meet to address questions, provide updates, and offer suggestions for improvements Coaching clients on best practices for optimizing their website's results Exploring new search related processes and improvements - AGO/GEO (AI Focus) Collaborating with team members on projects to move the department forward Participating in team meetings and contributing to strategic discussions Work with the content and development teams to ensure SEO guidelines are met Assist in link-building campaigns and outreach efforts Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices Completing certifications and trainings through online courses Adapting to new tools and technologies to improve service effectiveness Use keyword research tools to identify informational keywords (KD ≤ 30, search volume ≥ 150) relevant to client industries Write and format 2 SEO-optimized blog posts per month per client, following best practices for headers, internal/external links, metadata, and readability Ensure all blog posts pass Yoast SEO and readability standards before publishing Use AI tools as a starting point when needed but ensure content is unique and high-performing Create supporting blog graphics or coordinate with the design team as needed Assisting with other digital marketing tasks as needed Skills Must be a Tampa Bay Area resident for this remote position Basic understanding of SEO principles and techniques Understanding of WordPress, Google Business Profiles, & Other platforms Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush or Ahrefs Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Effective communication and organizational abilities Fluent and articulate writing and communication skills including the ability to take client meetings and phone calls Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment 1 year of SEO experience through internships, study programs, previous roles, etc Familiarity with industries we serve (e.g., home services, healthcare, legal, and wedding vendors) Benefits 401K (1:1 up to 3% match - option for 3.5% match on 4% contribution, after 1 year of employment) Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Health Insurance 80 Hours of PTO per year And more.
