[Remote] SDET/Automation QA Engineer

They are seeking a QA Engineer to build automation frameworks, develop testing strategies, and collaborate with teams to enhance the QA program.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Product & Design team to understand product requirements across different internal and external applicationsDevelop and document manual + automated testing plans based on product requirementsReview business requirements and recommend changes to develop reliable applicationsBuild automated e2e testing using the Playwright testing automation frameworkBuild automated API tests using Postman or similar as well as implementing automated tests in codeBuild and analyze performance testsPerform manual & exploratory testing as appropriateAutomate regression testing for scalabilityWork with engineers to write API tests in code using TypescriptWork with the engineering and product teams to streamline and automate release processes while still ensuring stability & qualityWork with stakeholders and business experts to ensure critical financial math is completely accurate and in line with mortgage industry standardsHelp integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelinesAid users and program teams in investigating and reproducing bugs found in productionWork with management to prioritize and categorize bugsIdentify applications & areas of applications that produce notably higher bug ratesBecome an expert in the expected and desired behavior of mortgage applicationsExplore and develop AI testing frameworks, confirming areas where it is an effective tool and where it is notSkills3+ years in QA and SDET is a mustExperience working in an agile environment with team members in other cities and statesDemonstrated communication and collaboration skills, in discussions, slack, and documentationFamiliarity with database testing, security testing, and accessibility testing is a plusCompany OverviewLower provides home refinancing, customer service, consumer lending, home purchase, and financial services.
