Remote School Speech Therapy - New York
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a school setting in Huntington Station, NY. This role focuses on delivering remote speech therapy support to students, facilitating their communication development through virtual platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Provide comprehensive telespeech therapy services to students with speech and language challenges.
ā¢ Develop individualized treatment plans based on student assessments and progress.
ā¢ Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals into the educational environment.
ā¢ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
ā¢ Participate in virtual meetings and consultations with families and multidisciplinary teams as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
ā¢ Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification and licensure appropriate for New York.
ā¢ Demonstrated experience providing speech therapy services, preferably in a school or educational setting.
ā¢ Proficiency in telespeech platforms and virtual therapy delivery.
ā¢ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
ā¢ Ability to manage a caseload independently and adapt to remote service delivery challenges.
Contract Details:
ā¢ Position is contract-based within a school environment located in Huntington Station, NY.
ā¢ Services to be provided primarily through telespeech technology.
