[Remote] SAP Data Migration Functional Analyst

EnQubes is seeking a SAP Data Migration Functional Analyst responsible for the end-to-end functional ownership of assigned SAP data migration objects throughout the implementation lifecycle. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into accurate data migration specifications and ensure successful execution of production cutover activities.ResponsibilitiesServe as the end-to-end functional owner for assigned data migration objectsPartner with SAP Functional Leads and Business Process Teams across Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Forecast-to-Stock (FTS), Record-to-Report (RTR), Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Quality Management, and other business process areasParticipate in Fit-to-Standard workshops, business process design workshops, and solution design sessions to identify data migration requirementsAnalyze business processes and determine the master data, transactional data, and historical data requirements necessary to support future-state business operationsDefine migration scope, business ownership, data quality requirements, and acceptance criteria for assigned migration objectsConduct Data Mapping Workshops with business stakeholders and functional teamsDevelop and maintain Data Migration Functional Design Documents (FDDs)Develop and maintain detailed Data Mapping Specifications including Source-to-target mapping, Field transformation rule, Data derivation logic, Defaulting rules, Value conversion rules, Cross-reference (XREF) requirement, Data cleansing requirement, Determine and maintain object-level and field-level mapping requirements throughout the project lifecycleDefine business validation rules and reconciliation requirementsIdentify and support Data Construction SMEs for assigned business process areasProvide functional training on Data construction template, Data standard, Data quality requirement, Data governance expectation, Cross-reference data requirementAssist business teams with Data cleansing, Data enrichment, Legacy data remediation, Data construction activities, Cross-reference (XREF) developmentMonitor data readiness progress and escalate risks impacting migration timelinesCollaborate closely with Data Migration Developers throughout migration build activitiesReview migration logic and transformation rules to ensure alignment with approved business requirementsClarify mapping requirements and business rules as questions arise during developmentTrack migration build progress and proactively resolve functional issues that may impact delivery schedulesDevelop Functional Unit Test scenarios and expected resultsExecute Functional Unit Testing for assigned migration objectsCoordinate migration testing activities with business SMEs and functional teamsValidate migrated data against approved mapping specifications and business requirementsWork with Data Migration Developers to troubleshoot Data load failure, ETL processing error, Transformation defect, Validation failure, Data quality issueSupport defect logging, root cause analysis, retesting, and defect closure activitiesCoordinate business data validation activitiesFacilitate business review sessions and sign-off processesSupport reconciliation activities between legacy and target systemsEnsure migrated data satisfies business acceptance criteria and audit requirementsTrack validation completion status and communicate readiness to project leadershipSupport mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and production migration eventsCoordinate assigned migration activities during cutover executionMonitor migration status and communicate progress, issues, risks, and mitigation plansCommunicate migration cutover task status to the Cutover Management TeamSupport hypercare activities and post-go-live data reconciliation effortsSkills5+ years of SAP Data Migration experience on large SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA implementation programsExperience supporting one or more SAP business process areas including PTP, OTC, FTS, RTR, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or FinanceExperience conducting Data Mapping Workshops and documenting migration requirementsExperience writing Functional Design Documents and Data Mapping SpecificationsExperience supporting data construction, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activitiesStrong understanding of SAP master data and transactional data structuresExperience supporting multiple mock conversion cycles and production cutoversExcellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skillsExperience supporting one or more of the following SAP data domains: Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Forecast-to-Stock (FTS), Record-to-Report (RTR), Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Logistics Execution, Transportation Management, Quality Management, Master Data Governance (MDG)Company OverviewEnqubes provides project management, data governance solutions, and machine learning solutions.
