The role involves working directly with clients to translate business needs into clear requirements and guiding projects to successful outcomes.ResponsibilitiesBuild trusted client relationships through proactive account management and effective project deliveryWriting user stories as an output to discovery sessions. At times, leading discovery sessionsEstablishes knowledge of client business challenges and priorities to translate into opportunitiesMaintains regular client communication and satisfaction, ensuring opportunities and challenges are addressed in a timely mannerHelps deliver presentations to clients and management teamsContributes to project discoveries, kickoff, prepare proposals and statements of work following company standardsLeading training sessions and walking through the front-end steps an end user would take as well as walking technical users through the back-endUnderstanding how to move data between environments using standard data loading toolsTranslate client’s business needs into detailed business requirements documents, use cases and systems interaction diagramsWorks with customers to establish approved wireframes and mock-ups for solutionsAssists project team to establish high, mid, and micro level plans for project teamHelps to establish critical path, milestones, delivery dates, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteriaProvides leadership throughout the lifecycles of a project, guiding the understanding the project team has through design and development to ensure project requirements are metHelps establish project test strategy, methodologies, test plans as well as assist with test executionInstills team commitment to company delivery methodologies and practicesSkillsGrowing expertise across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud with hands-on configuration experience across core platform features and multiple types of engagementsExperience with Service Cloud Voice (SVC), Field Service Lightning, Agentforce a plusComfortable serving as the primary client-facing point person for portions of workshops, requirement sessions, demos, testing, and training while keeping stakeholders aligned and raising risks early when delivery is at riskStrong hands-on skills in flows, approvals, assignment rules, case and opportunity configuration, Experience Cloud basics, declarative automation, reporting, and user lifecycle management across internal and external audiencesCapable of completing at least 80 percent of declarative build needs without detailed solution notes, including building flows, configuring routing and queues, managing Experience Cloud permissions, and installing common AppExchange packagesUnderstands the SOW, can identify risks such as scope creep or unclear requirements, and partners with PMs to propose next steps before issues escalate into delivery challengesUnderstands the purpose of every deliverable, knows where templates live, and can drive the creation of high-quality documentation with minimal guidance while teaching junior consultants how to create strong first iterationsResourceful problem solver who takes ownership of assigned work, seeks guidance appropriately, and can execute Solution Architect designs with minimal oversight while delivering predictable qualityExperience with Experience Cloud is not required, though exposure to portals, sharing models, and customer or partner communities is a notable advantage and an expected growth areaConfident participating in hands-on configuration interviews and demonstrating practical, real-world Salesforce problem solving across multiple cloudsStrong communication skills in both written and verbal formats, especially when leading client meetings or translating requirements for delivery teamsMinimum of three years of hands-on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud consulting experienceActive Salesforce Administrator certification, with additional Service Cloud or Consultant certs preferredTeam-first mindset, with the ability to guide junior consultants and take ownership of client outcomes when neededBenefitsInformation regarding the benefits available for this position are in our benefits overviewReasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application proceduresCompany OverviewPerficient is an IT consulting firm that helps companies adapt their systems to third party software products that use internet.
