Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive new business and grow existing accounts in the flexible packaging industry
Identify, prospect, and engage with potential customers through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and industry events
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations
Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their packaging requirements
Present and sell company products and services to new and existing clients
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track customer interactions, and report on sales performance and market trends
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activity to better serve clients and adapt sales strategies
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the packaging, manufacturing, or related industries
Strong understanding of flexible packaging materials, processes, and industry standards (a plus)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay organized
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
