Your focus will be ensuring Veeva's products are delivered to our customers quickly and with the best quality possible. What You'll Do Provide in-depth software development expertise focusing on cloud architecture, design patterns, and programmingImplement DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and automated deploymentDevelop, deploy, and manage CI/CD workflows, automating tasks across the full lifecycle to enhance developer experience and efficiencyConstruct, manage, and deploy infrastructure utilizing Ansible, Terraform, and KubernetesRecommend architectural enhancements, design, and integration solutions, and establish methodologies and best practicesAim to minimize the risk of reliability-related failures, focusing on durability, availability, performance, and correctness Requirements 3+ years of experience in DevOps roles, emphasizing tooling, automation, and development of distributed systemsExtensive experience in designing, and programming applications within an AWS Cloud environmentProficiency in designing and implementing applications using Container and serverless technologiesHands-on experience with Ansible or TerraformHands-on experience with docker orchestrations such as Kubernetes, openshiftExpertise in configuration management platformsExperience in developing in PythonProficient in programming in Java, Scala, Go, or similar languagesExperience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, Codefresh)Familiarity with monitoring frameworks to track infrastructure and application health and performanceExcellent skills in proposal writing, project estimation, presentation, and documentationCandidate must be in the AST, CST, or EST time zoneWe are looking for strong mentors with a proven record of making your team better Nice to Have Experience with SQL, data modeling, and design Learn More Engineer Perspective: 3 Reasons to Consider VeevaEngineering at Veeva Perks & Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurancePTO and company-paid holidaysRetirement programs1% charitable giving program Compensation Base pay: $85,000 - $225,000 CADThe salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
