The Sales Engineer, Filter Fabrics will identify customer needs, develop application-specific offerings, and build relationships to drive new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts in the Mid-Atlantic territory.ResponsibilitiesDevelop key account strategies to assure a competitive position and maximize order intakeMaintain the current book of business within the assigned Mid-Atlantic region while pursuing all new leads and sales proposalsProactively engage in prospective efforts to generate new customersUnderstand customers’ technology selection process, enabling strategic positioning of products and services to align with their requirementsCoordinate filter cloth sizing and proposal processServe as a vital link between cross-functional teams to facilitate information transfer of new ordersEffectively collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to manage post-sale customer relationshipsCreate and present presentations that showcase our products and services at relevant trade showsDemonstrate flexibility to cross sell additional Komline productsUpdate and maintain Salesforce Customer Relations Management (CRM) toolSkillsBachelor's Degree: Engineering and Chemistry disciplines preferred3-5 years of experience selling capital equipment with filtration, liquid-solid separation, and processing experience preferredDemonstrated track record of revenue growth or new market developmentBreadth and depth of industrial scope to expand our business capabilitiesDemonstrated capability in developing customer relationships and customer accountsAbility to respond to time sensitive environments with multiple prioritiesAble to travel up to 60% domesticallyExperience in pre-contract, lab testing, application engineering, post contract project engineering, mechanical design, parts, and post-sale cycleCompany OverviewKomline is a global leader in advanced Separation Technologies, delivering innovative equipment that keeps industries running and communities thriving.
