This remote role involves managing customer relationships, maximizing sales volume, and leading business planning for the assigned territory.ResponsibilitiesUtilizing knowledge of all customer sales channels with a particular emphasis on Traditional Warehouse Distributor players and the competitive requirements to maximize sales volume with existing and prospective customer base while ensuring profitabilityLeading business planning and strategy determination for MAHLE Aftermarket to effectively address sales growth within the assigned territory, including the identification of new product offeringsIncorporating time management skills to maximize sales effectiveness and to minimize travel costsPerforming market research on various products & competitors; keeps abreast of market developmentsMaking recommendations on sales promotions, evaluating their success or failure, and making recommendations for improvementsInteracting with key cross-functional areas such as Marketing, Product Management and Supply Chain to address customer needs while ensuring consistency and profitabilityProviding training on MAHLE product technology as needed for current and prospective accountsAssisting in developing marketing tools and customer specific sales programsAll other duties and projects assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related fieldTypically requires a minimum of 3-7 years previous Automotive Aftermarket Sales or related experienceKnowledge of gaskets, engine parts, filters, and turbocharger applicationsExperience and understanding of the aftermarket distribution channels (Warehouse Distributor, Engine Parts Specialist)Strong problem solving and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify and sell win-win scenariosMust be a results-oriented, self-starter requiring minimal supervisionDemonstrated track record of working with customers, peers, and management to accomplish both long- and short-term goalsStrong time management skillsExceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication and presentation skillsBenefitsA collaborative environment working on exciting assignmentsOngoing personal & career development opportunitiesCompany OverviewMAHLE offers innovative mobility solutions that stand for clean air, fuel efficiency, and driving pleasure.
